Come along and hear local musicians getting together to make acoustic music and have a heap of fun doing it.</p>
<p><strong>Acoustic Union String Band</strong> will be leading the jam and conclude the jam with a short performance. This Brisbane based band performs in various authentic 1920s golden age and contempory musical styles.</p>
<p><strong>Mark Anderson aka Ruffcut Anderson</strong>: Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. is a founding member of Brisbane bands Dirt Music and The Jook Joint Boys. Ruffcut formed Acoustic Union as a vehicle for the live performance of Americana acoustic music with like-minded supporting artists.</p>
<p><strong>Mal Nebe</strong>: On double bass has been the engine room for many Brisbane bands and performers over the years crossing genres such as Bluegrass, Blues, Rockabilly and Gypsy Jazz. Mal was most notably the double bass player for The Backwoodstompers, The Muleskinners and Gypsy Jazz ensemble Bellville.</p>
